The green papaya salad with avocado was to die for. The mixed seafood stir fry was primo and iced tea with coconut milk was delicious.

Excellent Thai food! Was not expecting it to be this good. If you like Thai food and are in the area, make some time to eat here. We got the green curry and pad see ew, both great. Wish we could've tried the specials.

Amazing Calamari, by far best we've ever had. The rest of the our meals were excellent too. No nonsense, good service, quick delivery. Very satisfied.

Really excellent Thai food. "Thai hot" spice level was pretty legit. I got pineapple curry with mixed seafood and would highly recommend. Portion was a little bit too much for just one person, but they do offer to-go boxes.

Food is always good and customer service is always friendly. One of my favorites <3

This place has some very strong flavors that work so well together. I recommend getting either the Crispy fish or the Evil Jungle Prince. Great service too.

We had pad Thai and red curry with sticky rice and it was amazing. Price was on the high side and the service was lacking. Had to flag down someone to get refills on water and to get our bill. Parking was not easy either, but they had plenty of seats. Bathrooms were clean and, when you walked by them, you can see their kitchen was very clean. The food did come out quite quick. Would be a 5 star if service matched the price paid.

Real Thai, real kitchen, real Thai cooks. When you ask for ""Thai Hot" you get it. Having spent a lot of time in Thailand, it is nice to have a place to get authentic Thai food, in Pahoa. When i walk in and say hello in Thai, i am welcomed in Thai. That is a relief, for me out here in the middle of the sea, away from the rest of the earth. We have a family of dedicated Thai's rocking the hippies and tourists with treats, from afar SE Asia. - Enjoy :) - J

Ordered take-out while visiting the island. Food was great, definitely spicy but not unexpected. After reading some of the other reviews I wish I had eaten there in person. Oh well will have to come back...

The food was really good and flavorful. We had 4 different dishes and all were great. Portions were also generous, so much so, we had to take some home with us.

Great visual of food before I even had a bite. I ordered ocean fresh shrimp. The color of the dish with all the vegetables was amazing and tasted amazing.

Best I've had in soooo long. Amazing curry. Everything was fresh, seasoning was just the right balance between the sweet, spicy, I could have slurped a bucket of that yellow curry sauce! I'm so sad I cant find anything as good where I live!

Of the restaurants in Pahoa, this one is my favorite. The summer rolls are particularly excellent and super fresh. The dishes are very spicy with complex flavors. The place is run by a Thai family and the food was as good, if not better, than some of the food I've eaten in Thailand. The mango sticky rice is a very good dessert. 🙏

BEST THAI FOOD ON THE BIG ISLAND! Do yourself a favor and order the pineapple Curry. It is amazing. I've eaten lots of Thai food and this is some of the best curry I've ever had. Smaller restaurant with a quaint atmosphere. Definitely a must when staying on the Big Island.

I was going to ding it 1 star for the long wait...45 min between ordering and getting our food but boy was it worth the wait!! Oustanding green curry with the various vegetables each done to perfection to just tender crisp which is hard with the variety served from green peas to chunks of potato. I only thought I'd be able to eat half but it was so tasty I couldn't stop! My husband said the chicken and mixed vegetable dish he had was probably the best he ever had... and thats saying something as we are both almost 60! Highly recommend this little local hotspot!

I love Asian food. There's limited parking but this place is amazing. I ordered something different every time I went and I went multiple times. The spice is actually spicy. So if in doubt, round down. They charge for the rice separately so be mindful but they have bathrooms and the staff are nice. I'd go back. All of the food was delicious.

The food was really good but dont have the hot unless you really like hot. I like a vindaloo from the curry houses in the UK and that's hot but this was crazy. It also appeared to be made hotter with the addition of loads of chilli oil or sauce rather than chillies cooked in the dish. Other than that the food was amazing. The summer rolls are amazing and so fresh and flavourful. Worth a try

Some of the best Thai food on Big Island, in my opinion. Street parking only, so good luck. Sometimes you have to wait for a table (if you show up at noon or 6pm)

Still one of my favorite Thai places in the world. Every time I visit we go here multiple times before we have to leave. Last time we ate here I had the best spring rolls I've ever had--never had a bad meal here.

Pumpkin curry with brown rice - aloi dee delicious!

This takes the saying, "everything's more expensive in Hawaii" to another level. I ordered the Spring Rolls, six pieces for $8.95. Opened the container and it was literally SIX PIECES. Two spring rolls were cut into thirds. When I returned them they tried to convince me that was correct that it was six pieces. They finally took them back but they didn't want to. I've not tasted the Curry and pad thai yet but it will have to be the best ever, mind blowing Thai food I've ever had for me to return. It seems the culture here is that vendors would rather exploit you once, than have a repeat customer. Very sad....

This place is incredible. You have to go here if you've never been. Pad thai noodles, yellow beef curry, shrimp spring rolls, green papaya salad was our first meal on the Big Island and we will be back for more. Our friend recommended Ning's and we recommend it to you!

This was the best Thai food I've had in my life. I had green curry with shrimp and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. Can't recommend enough. Also BYOB.

Best Thai food i've had to date. I've tried several dishes, always the vegan / tofu / veggie option. Basil dish, Evil Jungle Prince, and green curry among my favorties, and Ning's sticky rice is bomb! Truly the best Thai cuisine I've had anywhere in US

We're from San Francisco and have very high standards for Thai food, and we though this place was great.

The food was very good, but you have to run a gauntlet of street-people sitting on the sidewalk, with dogs that growl and bark at you, as you pass by. Too bad, because Ning's has excellent food, and is quaint.

Far and away the best thai food I've had outside of Thailand, and the best food I've had in Hawaii. It transported me back, and my family had to deal with my talking about the red curry, papaya salad, fresh vegan spring rolls, and mango sticky rice for a full hour after we left. I couldn't recommend this place more, and am heartbroken that I can't eat there more often.

Satisfying and fresh. Lots of variety on the menu. Also vegitarian options. Love the Mi ka ti and pra long song. BYOB.

Really great Thai food in a typical Thai interior. We had the Pad Thai and Massaman curry and it was really good. Beware: medium is already more then spicy enough for people who can handle hot food!

The Thai on the island are a tight group and so I see people from uncle Roberts and Hilo here in the kitchen. This is like nuang mai in Hilo in terms of quality.

Beautiful flavours, medium is hot, so good spice level as they come.
